Danish Puff PastryThis recipe came to us from our Aunt Janie Eldridge of Port Angeles, Washington.
Heat oven 350 degrees. Mix first 3 ingredients like for pie crust. Roll into rectangle 12 X 6 and place on un-greased baking sheet. Mix second amount of butter and water and bring to boil. Remove from heat; add flavoring. Beat in flour. When smooth add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition. Spread mixture over crust and press crust edge into filling. Bake 1 hour. When cool, frost with confectioners’ sugar icing. |
