Loreth Ranch House Dressing

Picture
If you love the house dressing at Cattlemen's, the legendary steakhouse in the stockyard district of Oklahoma City, you'll also love the house recipe ranch dressing at the Loreth Ranch. Inspired by the famous steakhouse's beloved dressing, we crafted our own to be a close, and delicious version. Try it and see if it's not just as good (or just about identical) to the original.
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 t. white vinegar
  • 1/2 t. garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 3 ounces shredded cheddar cheese (approximately 1 cup -- loose, not packed)
  • 1/4 t. paprika
  • 1/8 t. sea salt
  • 1/8 t. fresh ground pepper

Mix together in a food processor or blender. The cheddar cheese should be broken down so that it's barely visible (very small pieces) and just adds texture.  Will be thick (does not 'pour').

If you want to present just like Cattlemen's steakhouse, be sure to serve over ice cold iceberg lettuce, a cherry tomato, and sprinkle the dressing with paprika.

Enjoy!
