Starbucks Copycat White Chocolate Syrup for White Chocolate Mochas
If you LOVE Starbucks' white mochas, you're going to love me today! I just whipped up, after much experimentation, a delicious "clone" of their magical White Chocolate Syrup to make those wondrous drinks for which we all pay an exorbitant $5+ each. You can experience this white chocolate heaven at home, for pennies on the Starbucks dollar. And, no, this isn't low sugar or low calorie but neither is Starbucks' version. wink emoticon
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 can evaporated milk
1/3 cup sugar
1Tablespoon Vanilla Extract
6 ounces chopped white chocolate (I used the white chocolate candy wafers)
In a saucepan, melt everything together on relatively low heat. When silky smooth, put the saucepan carefully into a bigger bowl of ice to cool the mixture as you stir to keep the mixture from crusting in the top. Voila! White Chocolate Syrup magic. I'm starting up my Nespresso espresso machine now to finish the process and enjoy a delicious afternoon treat! Yum!!
