The big sister is retired in Juneau, Alaska, 

the middle sister retired to just south of Houston, Texas, 

and the youngest lives on a ranch in north Texas and works in Juneau, Alaska. 

We three sisters were raised by a mother who knew how to cook. You know ... the mother who answers the question, "How much of this do you put in?" with a smile and an "Oh, just enough so it tastes right."  Not surprisingly, all three of us sisters have a passion for good food. And cooking has become for us what it was for our mother -- a way to share love with those we care for the most. 

Over the years, we three sisters gravitated to different corners of our nation -- the oldest retiring from teaching and staying in Juneau, Alaska, the middle sister retiring from the aerospace industry just south of Houston, Texas, and the youngest settling on a working cattle ranch north of Dallas, Texas and working in Juneau, Alaska. 

This website started as a way to help our grown kids help themselves. Before this website, we'd field endless calls from our kids in the midst of the grocery store, asking, "Mom, what do I need to buy to make grandma's chicken and noodles?" Now our kids can look up family recipes on their phones, and follow the recipe once they're home in their own kitchens. But, we're very happy to share with you. We had no idea, when we started this website, that we'd have over a MILLION visitors in such a short period of time. We had no idea that you would make a recipe, love it, and then share it on social media. So, thank you for loving our family recipes and for sharing them with those you love. 

We hope that you enjoy our recipes, which include our family favorites as well as new (often healthier) recipes. We have made every recipe on this site and have double-checked every recipe for accuracy to ensure that your end result will be just right. Its our goal to be that reliable recipe collection website that doesn't waste your grocery money on a recipe that just isn't quite right. We promise to not share a recipe that we haven't ALL made successfully and loved enough to want to share with you. Enjoy!
