Easy Corn Bread
Jen and Kathy liked this recipe off a generic carton of corn meal. Made all the batches in a cast iron skillet and turned out perfect every time!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Butter a cast iron skillet or 8 or 9 inch square pan.
Mix together dry ingredients:
Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir by hand ONLY until just mixed. Do not overmix! Turn the batter into the baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes --or until light golden brown and wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
