Cupcake corer creates a perfect hole in the center of a baked cupcake for filling with icing

Better than Hostess Cupcake Filling

• 2 teaspoons VERY hot water
• rounded 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
• one 7 ounce jar of marshmallow cream (2 cups)
• 1/2 cup of white Crisco shortening (or generic equivalent)
• 1/3 cup powdered sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Combine the salt in the hot water, stir until dissolved and let cool.  

Whip together the marshmallow cream, Crisco, powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Slowly stream in the cooled salt water and whip until finished. 

Pipe into cored (or not) cupcakes for a delicious filling.
