Korean Style Beef Short Ribs

 It’s a good idea to let the ribs marinate for at least two hours to allow the seasoning to penetrate; marinating overnight is even better.  This recipe comes from sister Kathy.

• 2 pounds sliced beef short ribs (ask your butcher for flanken style beef ribs)

Marinade

• 1/4 cup soy sauce
• 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
• 3/4 cup water
• 2 teaspoon sesame seeds
• 2 teaspoon sesame oil
• 3 teaspoons garlic, minced
• 2 stalks green onion, chopped
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 1 teaspoon pepper

 

1. Mix marinade and add ribs, Marinate ribs for 6-8 hours
2. Barbecue on grill
